Basking In Moreton Bay: The Lighthouse Cafe

Enjoying the views of Moreton Bay
❤️
The Lighthouse Cafe is a part of The Lighthouse Restaurant at Cleveland Point and boasts some of Cleveland’s more beautiful views of Moreton Bay, a shallow inlet of the Pacific Ocean that sits between the Australian mainland and a few islands (Moreton Island (Mulgumpin) and North Stradbroke Island (Minjerribah) to name a few).
The café itself is a great spot to catch up and enjoy the serenity of the bay. Tomoyo and I did just that on this trip, stopping by with my parents to enjoy the views before Tomoyo and I voyaged on the North Stradbroke Island (Minjerribah).
I must say, as a former Queensland resident and coming from Melbourne, I honestly wasn't sure where to set my expectations for the coffee, but this one was actually well-above where my mind was sitting at!
It’s a beautiful place with great views. Stop by if you get the chance and make sure to feel in-tune with the area by eating a delicious Moreton Bay Bug.
