PARDON Coffee: A Japanese-inspired café in Prahan

PARDON Coffee is a petite little coffee spot in Prahan that pays homage to (what I assume to be) its Japanese roots. There are collections of Japanese textbooks and paraphernalia throughout the café.

Tomoyo and I stopped by on a nice sunny morning. The café is positioned nicely for the morning sun.

The inside of the café is very small, so it is best to visit for a catch-up only if you're small in numbers. That worked perfectly for us. We were able to enjoy our coffee and get some wonderful morning sun on us.

If sizing is a problem, PARDON Coffee is across the road from Prahan Square. Grab yourself a takeaway coffee and park up there for an alternative to dining in.

現在は閉店したカップ・オブ・トゥルース（Cup of Truth）を経営していた方がオープンしたカフェ。

日の当たる朝にこのカフェを訪問。

この日の店員さんはみんな日本人で日本人の方ですかと声をかけていただく。スタッフ方みなさんとても感じがいい。

店内に置かれたジブリの人形や日本に関する多数の本からこの経営者は日本人なのか日本が好きなのか何かしら日本に関係しているカフェだとわかる。

アーモンドラテとバナナブレッドをオーダー。

アーモンドラテは素敵な陶器に注がれて美しいラテアートと共に運ばれてくる。ラテはミルクの甘さが感じられて朝の身体に沁みる。

オーストラリアのバナナブレッドはトーストされてバターが添えてあるというなんとも夢のような形で提供されるのが一般的。

こちらでもこんがりと焼かれたバナナブレッドにバターが添えて登場。

これが食べたかった、と思うような王道でドンピシャなバナナブレッド。

飲み物にはバイロンベイブレンド、Monk Bodhi Dharmaから仕入れたコーヒーや抹茶ラテなども提供してある。

お食事にはメルボルンのカフェでよくおいてあるサンドイッチやクロワッサン、バナナブレッドなどこれぞカフェのペイストリーといったものがある。

お値段も安めでこのクオリティー、普段使いに間違いなし。
